ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABLE  DESIGN

PROJECT 1- MY COMMUNITY MY COMMITMENT

For this assignment, in a group of 12 we were required to give back to the community and the environment by engaging in hands-on work, creating necessary items to cater to a specific charitable organisation.

We chose Dayspring, a community of people with learning disabilities being trained in vocational and sheltered workshops. They required a few items such as fire extinguisher trolleys for safety, storage beds and storm drain plugs. On top of that, we made them a planter rack for them to have a healthy pastime and to give back to the environment.
